It’s the only place in Shimla which offers whitewater rafting on Satluj River, probably one of the longest rivers of India. You can begin your river rafting adventure from Sunni to Tattapani at a 5 Km river course. Another option available is a course of 12 Km from powerhouse Chabba to Tattapani, and if you want to challenge your limits, you can raft on a stretch of 35 Km from Pandowa to Tattapani. However, there are specific safety measures that you have to adhere while you are rifting on Satluj River.
